Engineer Goes Above and Beyond for Client

At Chiorino we often speak about the quality of our products. We put a lot of time and research into all the products we supply and are proud to deliver world leading belts and resistant materials.

However, no matter how good our product line up is, it would be nothing without our team of sales staff and engineers. We are immensely proud of the team we have, and some recent feedback proves exactly why that is.

One of our clients had an issue with one of their belts in the middle of the night. Their first step was to contact a general industrial maintenance organisation who, unfortunately in this case, couldn’t help. So, the general maintenance company called one of sales engineers, none other than the superstar that is Stuart Anderson. Stuart then got out of bed at midnight, and by 2 am had insured that a new belt had been engineered and installed. The clients were thrilled, and had this to say:

‘I just wanted to give you some feedback on a call out last night. We had a belt that broke on our wrapper and unfortunately, we didn’t have a spare. We called Wakefield and neither did they. We called [a] helpline, they called the local branch, Chiorino were called, they got out of bed, came to site to collect this and manufactured us a new one for us at 2AM.

You all know I say it how it is and I have to say that this level of service exceeded my expectations, and we were very relieved that you were able to get us out of this situation. There’s obviously a corrective action plan in the background but I just wanted to recognise your support, it was excellent.  Please also pass on our gratitude to Chiorino for their service.’
