Our Highlights of 2018
It’s been an incredibly positive year for Chiorino. Our team of talented individuals have been working extremely hard in order for the business to succeed as much as it has. Continuing to be world leaders in the conveyor belt industry, we thrive on every little piece of success.
This year has brought many positives. Despite saying goodbye to well-loved members of the team, Sheldon and Ian, as they left us for a well-deserved retirement – it’s been none stop success!
So, what’s happened in this whirl wind of a year?
- We passed – We passed our routine audit and successfully achieved re-certification to ISO9001: 2015, ISO14001: 2015 & OHSAS18001: 2007, without any complications. This accentuated our credibility as a business thanks to our amazing team!
- New Members – In June, Chiorino welcomed a new conveyor belt fitter to the team, Damien Rowell. With his variety of skills and excellent knowledge of the industry, Damien is a valuable addition to the team and we were excited to have him on board. He has become a fantastic member of our team this year.
- Moving Up – Our Internal Sales Engineer, Shaun Stokes, took a step up from Internal Sales to External Sales Engineer, as well as achieving his Key Selling Skills certificate. He’s been working incredibly hard throughout his training and is thriving in his new role.
- Environmental Impact – We feel passionate about our carbon footprint and the impact our work has on the environment which is why we have continued to provide environmentally friendly and efficient conveyor belts. This is something we feel is very important within any industry which is why we continue to look at ways to improve this year on year.
These are just a few of our 2018 achievements. This year has been more than successful for Chiorino and we expect even more great things in the New Year.
